Paulina D. Rodriguez
Paulina D. Rodriguez is a Legal Assistant based in our Las Cruces office. She assists with family and humanitarian immigration cases. Ms. Rodriguez is fluent in Spanish.
Ms. Rodriguez graduated from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon with a double major in Sociology and Latin American Studies in 2015. As an undergraduate, Ms. Rodriguez studied abroad in Quito, Ecuador, and volunteered with the Colombian Refugee Project, where she worked directly with at-risk refugee families in marginalized neighborhoods of Quito. After college, Ms. Rodriguez served as an AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) with Catholic Charities of Southern New Mexico. As their Resource Development Specialist, she helped raise funds to kick-start the organization’s Defense for Deportation Project to provide affordable immigration legal services to low-income families in the border region. During that time, she also worked with migrant workers as a bilingual GED instructor. Ms. Rodriguez has two years of experience working as an immigration Legal Assistant.
Ms. Rodriguez was born in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, and raised in Newberg, Oregon. She was brought to the United States as a minor in 2000. Having navigated the immigration process herself, she understands the fear and anxiety people experience as they navigate through the immigration process. Due to her background and life experiences, Ms. Rodriguez is deeply committed to advocating and helping empower immigrant communities in any way she can.

Outside of work, Ms. Rodriguez spends time with her family and two dogs. She enjoys running and hiking as well as occasionally driving to Juarez to indulge in the culinary world of the border region.
